Construction of a model bioclimatic School Complex of Elementary School-Kindergarten with application of renewable energy technologies in the Building Plot (O.T.) 15 of the Area of Active Urban Planning (Z.E.P.) of Kozani.
It is one of the first bioclimatic schools in the country to house a modern 12-grade primary school and a kindergarten of 3,350 sq.m., with four floors and complete independence of the two levels of education. The difference of this school that makes it bioclimatic is that it combines the use of renewable energy with a geothermal system of 52 drillings, photovoltaic system, district heating, ventilation units (VAM), thermal façade, underfloor heating, energy-saving glassware that save primary energy by 45% and reduce costs by 75%. All equipment and facilities in the complex operate automatically with building automation systems (BMS/KNX).
